first off, welcome to KMF bro!! secondly, i highly doubt that you have burnt out LEDs.... they usually have a lifespan of 100,000+ hours when operated at their correct voltage limits... if it actually IS an LED (no filament, solid plastic lense, little aluminum sharp things and a tiny dish inside) i'd meter the diode to ensure its actually good.. then back track to find if the voltage is actually getting to it. at 12 Volts, the typical resistance used for a standard LED is around 700 ohms +/- 50. on voltage testing the circuit, look for 1.2-5. VDC. if they solder in, you'll have to desolder them, and resolder the new ones in very quickly as to not damage them with the heat transfer during this process. also make sure they're in the right way. LEDs are diodes, after all... they'll only work with the power hooked up a certain way.. as far as a regular bulb, they should push in (if rubber grommet mounted) or go in with a 1/4 turn (if plastic mounted).. the bulb itself will pull straight out and theres no polarity to it, so you can jam a new one in without fear of it not working like a diode if IT was backwards.. if this doesn't help, feel free to send some pics, or PM me bro.. i hope it does help.. keep us posted man!
