Default Routes in Houston

So I noticed a few guys from Houston posting here and I would like to get a couple of different routes that everyone is riding.

I know some of us have our secret stretches that were holding out on ......j/k (sorry strat I had too).

Just to get an idea of whats all good to ride and where everyone is riding at in our city.

head on 290 west for approx 35 miles from the beltway, exit 1488 roll through there to 362. I've taken it till that road turns into a dirt road. Only thing that sucks is the 35 miles of 290 one way there! Some decent twists, not that many cars. Google earth is your friend! That's how I found thatone!

Hey Strat

how long ago was that on 362 that it turned into a dirt road?

we rode it a few months ago and got the same thing while they were repaving. Its completed now and a pretty nice little ride, I think its the same stretch you are talking about. Going north on 362 from 290

And if they want the route they have to go with us, No freebies

yeah I know where you're talkin about. I rode there once, it's way out well past highway 6 and all that. Stay on 529 till you have to turn right (362) take that north and you'll go up to that 1488 area where I sometimes run. I may do that next time I feel llike going up there. Sure beats 35 miles one way on 290.
