Default Dying for spring

Anyone else out there getting as antsy as me with the weather up here? Just when I had hopes of getting my bike out soon, we had 8 inches of snow dumped on us two days ago. So, my baby needs to stay wrapped up tight in the garage for a little while longer and I just dream of cruising for now.

It was beautiful out Sunday. I passed a couple people out on their bikes and sighed. I had too much to do to dig out the bike this weekend for even a quick ride. Spring will be here soon enough I hope.

Default I had a couple ride by, too

Like you, I just sighed with envy. It was 41 degrees here and I am just too much of a wuss, I guess. Not quite warm enough for me to ride. My baby is in Florida right now getting a new look so I didn't have a choice anyhow.

I can't wait till spring either. We got something like another foot and a half of snow yesterday. It wasn't very encouraging. I'll have enough fun just digging the truck up so I can go to work tomorrow.

I hear you! Last weekend 16 inches of fresh snow for us. Especially, now that daylight savings time is here I am really getting antsy to get the bike out. I just can't do it with temps still in the 30's.

Its about 62 outside now, should pop up to at least 75 but with a ton of humidity as well. It was nice yesterday not really the ick feeling of being too humid, yet I saw no one out on bikes. It was really weird. Its been super cold here lately and even living in a hick town type place, the first day its nice out all you hear are bikes........instead I heard weed whackers.

Default starter, I feel for you

Your town's either turned into a retirement village or perhaps it's the pod people taking over. Either way, that just isn't natural!

Here, we've already had a few diehards out riding on clear days. I'd be with them if I wasn't such a wimp about the cold and if my bike was finished being painted.

Pod people, haha!

Its only 53 right now and being down south a little more than some its normal for us to be this warm now, maybe a little early but thats okay. Sad though I just checked the forecast and its only going to be 68 today and rainy. I guess I am not going to the bike shop after work today, will have to wait til tomorrow.
